She is NOT the same, and she doesn't want to be! She has gone through things that only she and God know to be true. Those things have shaped her thinking, her expectations, her daily desire to be a better person, and her accountability for self--Lisa C-S. She has fought hard and prayed harder to arrive at a place of comfort in owning her countless flaws and pitfalls, to "build" better, no matter what it looks like to others. She's still building...
Well, where did all that come from on this #MotivationMonday? In this season, God has blessed me with a beautiful sister-of-the-soul, who consistently fertilizes my spirit soil. This morning, while listening to a message that she shared yesterday (yep..I'm tardy 🤦🏾♀️), I was reminded of my wholesale construction that is my responsibility to take on; to own. In that, I want to be better; I feel that I've gotten better; and I have soooo much more work to do! 🙏🏽 I'm still building...
The sweet takeaway from my spiritual sister's latest soul sprinkling is that we are all building something---ourselves! No, we don't have all of the answers or all of the specifics, but there is a blueprint---our faith in God. In the beauty of that faith, the structure should be erected with love; it should be strong; it should be sturdy; it should be equipped to withstand the many storms that surface; and it should be prepared for eternal life. All of that requires the right "building" materials---tools, resources, and people---some new; some old. And, how do we determine the "who" and the "what" to get it done--God's way? Prayer and discernment, knowing that the result may become a "Grow or Go" decision for sure. Value the work you've done and protect your building!
Lord, I thank You for today's reminder. Please renew our faith in our ability to be builders; to build ourselves. Give us the strength, perseverance, right mindsets, and believing hearts to begin or continue what is ongoing construction. I am praying for discernment to recognize any distractions and the boldness to remove them from this life-or-death project. Help us to make "Grow or Go" decisions that align with You. Father, I thank You for my sister. I thank You for her obedience to build, to partner in faith, and to pour into the foundation of others. Amen.

My favorite part Grow or Go, whew 💯
Lo
Alignment….. profound word. I often have to look at my own alignment. Am I aligned with what God wants for me or what I think is right for me. It’s a battle…
