Relationship LLC

Updated: May 24, 2023

Relationships are beasts! They are picturesque of enormity. We often assess, reassess, and begin the cycle all over again. We read, listen, converse, watch, study, and too many times, sadly, the last thing that we do is pray--for guidance; for help; for answers. Moving the last option to the first and best line of defense, we need God's revelation and His will fulfilled. Maybe it's time to focus and prayerfully evaluate. Do we continue with or pursue what may be deemed an LLC?

In business, an LLC is a Limited Liability Company, but relationships are the same, seemingly. They represent limitations, and liability, and are corporate. In the relationship or partnership realm, it can lead to a decision point. Is it a relationship or a situationship? In that, we have to determine the root cause of what we're experiencing (or want to experience), as each letter represents. Is it an LLC of Love, Lust, Convenience, and/or Commitment, or a combination of two, three, or four? 🤔 Standard business LLCs are set up as a means of protection for their owners---from personal responsibility, liability, and obligation. What are our relationships set up to do--to fulfill, to protect, or to project?

None (n-o-n-e) of us are true experts, but it is something to process....maybe...😊

There will be times we have to negotiate with our partner in order to come to an agreement. We negotiate our feeling, our finances, how we are going to run the household, etc. It is a forever partnership (well it should be) that you commit to once you sign the contract (marriage license). Some couples dislike using the word "convenience" when they talk about marriage but truth be told, that is one of…
