Some people can't wait to get to the starting line of negativity. Ever watched or listened to them, figuratively, run to the opportunity to interject something negative? Sadly, that negative spirit attaches to ours, without any warning. Spinning the mind wheels, the heart tries to reposition us. Why? Because "good" people can also have, unknowingly, an initial or lingering mindset of negativity. The soiled thoughts just start to seemingly sprinkle like glitter, then attach to the surface of a megaphone....
Managing the tendency to let that 'spoil' ruin a good moment, or better yet, a good day, this prayer surfaced. It is music to my soul, and hopefully, will be the same for you---if you've encountered the likes of a Negative Nelly or Negative Ned lately. It was included in a Morning Manna message from a friend...
“Father, thank You that You have given me this day as a gift to live for You. Thank You that my happiness today is not dependent upon anyone else or upon my circumstances. I will rejoice, I will be glad, and I will make the most of this day. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
Likewise, I say, Amen! Switch the battery to the positive end, please, and be glad. We should maybe pay more attention to the circuitry. Taking a position in negativity is a good way to go nowhere fast---real fast. So, how about a little Ready, Set, Positivity...😊
And, yes, God is always on time! 🙌🏾
Peace & Blessings,

We should always challenge our negative thoughts with positive ones. It's a challenge... Well said
