Purpose Path 101

Reflecting on this journey, I'm reminded that this 'purpose' drive came later in life. I was on the plus side of 50 when I asked God to use me. I uttered those words aloud with 100% sincerity, but was slightly concerned about the uncertainty of where it might lead---almost immediately afterwards. In that, I'm sharing a little encouragement for those who are, like me, desiring to be used by God....

Pray and focus on finding your purpose, and continue to pray, always in pursuit of God's plan. Naysayers will frequently present themselves---covertly and blatantly. They may aim to pick apart your desire to serve and cause you to minimize the divine beauty of your gift. Stay on course. Keep moving in the direction of obedience. It's not about the quantity of posts, likes, comments, followers, or sales. It is about the quality of your heart and the qualitative measure of operating in faith. Purpose work is not perfect work. Again....Purpose work is not perfect work! Purpose work is prayerful work! Don't lose traction. Stay energized. Stay empowered. Stay encouraged. Also, partner with people who authentically and selflessly want to see you grow. And remember, everyone who is supposed to be on the journey with you will land there---somewhere; somehow; right time.

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened."

~ Matthew 7:7-8 (NKJV)

Had to release this! 😘
